SME Functional Lead – Core GEOINT
Position Summary
The SME Functional Lead for the Core GEOINT Learning Branch (HDNGO) is responsible for leading the development and delivery of training programs focusing on analytic tradecraft, techniques, and methodology across various GEOINT disciplines. The focus areas include foundational GEOINT learning, intelligence communications, critical and geospatial thinking, deployed analysis, and cyber GEOINT. The SME will ensure that NGA and Intelligence Community (IC) personnel receive comprehensive training to enhance their analytic capabilities and operational effectiveness.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and instruction of training programs related to foundational GEOINT, intelligence communications, critical thinking, geospatial analysis, deployed analysis, and cyber GEOINT.
- Provide expert-level instruction and curriculum development for both instructor-led and mobile training teams (MTTs), ensuring alignment with government and operational requirements.
- Manage the delivery of training across multiple GEOINT disciplines, focusing on cross-discipline issues and tradecraft development.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to maintain up-to-date training content and methodologies that address current GEOINT challenges.
- Develop and manage travel forecasts, tracking travel expenditures, and reporting to the government in monthly PMR meetings.
- Ensure the integration of best practices in communication, collaboration, and presentation skills within the training programs, enhancing the ability of personnel to effectively brief and report on GEOINT findings.
- Current TS/SCI Clearance
- Counterintelligence Polygraph (Preferred)
- National Geospatial-Intelligence College (NGC) Instructor Certification (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in GEOINT analysis, tradecraft development, and instructional roles.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: critical thinking, geospatial analysis, deployed analysis, and intelligence communications.
- Experience in curriculum development, training program management, and adult learning methodologies.
