Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Journeyman Operations Planner to support HQ SpOC/S35Z. In this role, you will provide coordination, planning, and administrative support to operational planning teams, ensuring seamless scheduling, documentation, and task management across Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting force generation, sustainment, and international partnerships while helping integrate advanced concepts and capabilities into U.S. Space Force operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive staff support including task response, document review and development, training plan validation, and SAP policy integration.
Support delivery, operational transition, and sustainment planning for advanced concepts, prototypes, rapid reaction systems, and Agile Acquisition efforts.
Provide technical expertise during operational transition processes, capability reviews, site surveys, STO planning, and DOTMLPF analysis for next-generation capabilities.
Conduct subject-matter analysis and coordination for Space Control systems and training plans, including CONOPS development, testing, and compliance with HQ SpOC training guidance.
Provide technical support to the SEW Branch (S35ZE) across force generation, deployment planning, readiness assessments, and coordination with theater-aligned Forward Garrisons.
Facilitate fielding of new space systems and Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), and support international partnerships aligned with Force Design.
Lead and track international cooperative programs, policies/agreements, senior-level engagements, and coordinate global bed-down efforts.
Support SEW force structure development and international equities; develop POM inputs and spend-plans; and participate in U.S. and international General Officer/SES engagements.
Provide OPSEC and MILDEC support for operational planning and exercises.

Minimum Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance; SAP eligibility.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in administrative or operational coordination, supporting SEW or related mission areas.
Bachelor’s degree required OR an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting SEW operations, force generation, and sustainment planning.
Familiarity with international partnership programs, policy/agreements, and global engagement coordination.
Experience with JCIDS, DOTMLPF analysis, and Quick Reaction Capability fielding.
Administrative or program coordination training preferred.
